Our story

About Remove the Burden

Remove the Burden is a fully managed moving service for families in the middle of life transitions, estate logistics, downsizing, and major home changes. We take the move so you can stay with the people you care about.

How we work

Our team and philosophy

Most families who call us are already carrying enough. A parent is moving. A house needs to be cleared. A sale, a facility date, or a probate timeline is approaching. The work is not only physical — it is a long list of decisions that is easy to postpone and hard to finish alone.

We pack, work with the other vendors you need, move you out, move you in, unpack, and put belongings in place. We also handle estate logistics, decluttering, donations, clearing, haul-away, downsizing, and senior relocation when the house requires it. We work alongside attorneys, realtors, facilities, and appraisers so you are not repeating the same story to every vendor.

Remove the Burden is backed by Re-Move-All, an established moving organization with decades of experience in New Jersey. The plan has a team behind it.

What we believe

People first

These transitions are about families, not just rooms and boxes. We plan around the people involved and the weight of the decisions they are making.

One person to call

Vendors, packing, the move, unpacking, and setup stay with us from the first conversation through the last walk-through.

Clear follow-through

We start with a real conversation, then stay with the plan through closeout — keys, donations, last loads, and final walk-throughs included.

A note from the founder

“These transitions are about people, not only tasks. We try to show up for families the way we would want someone to show up for ours: clear communication, steady follow-through, and respect for how hard this can be.”
